This is a Gentleman's residence by the sea. Situated on a large block (approx.1600m2) which slopes
gently to a sandy foreshore, the building is constructed from solid Cyprus pine. The timber has been
milled 100mm thick from pine logs maintaining the original curved log surface on the outside and a
bevelled flat surface on the inside. Each log is notched and grooved to produce a solid timber wall with
the original "Log Cabin" look. All windows, doors and locks were imported from Germany and feature
double glazing with a film coating that reflects most of the heat but little of the light. The upper floor
and roof is double insulated to produce a building that is very efficient for heating and cooling. The lower
level consists of guest bedroom, lounge, dining, kitchen and bathroom while the upper level has a large
bedroom with walk in robe and en suite and second bedroom. A sitting room/office completes the upper
level. The lower level opens onto a large deck area which extends down one side and provides access to
the laundry. Their is an impressive double garage with remote door opener and access at the side of the
property to allow launching of a boat from the property's boat ramp. A 14 ft aluminium dinghy fitted
with a 15HP outboard completes the package.
