North Arm Cove
North Arm Cove is on the northern shores of Port Stephens, between Karuah and Tea Gardens. The new express road to Sydney now passes the entrance to North Arm Cove, making it a 2 hr trip to the end of the F3. It is a quiet village, nestled on the peninsula that forms the Cove, which is one of the more protected anchorages in Port Stephens.

It is still a natural bush area abundant with wildlife. Kangaroo, Wallaby, Kookaburra, parrot and other native birds frequent the gardens and the occasional Koala can be sited. Dolphins regularly visit the cove to fish and frolic amongst the moored vessels. The residential area follows the foreshore and is one of the few remaining areas with absolute waterfront land. The original survey was carried out in 1918/1919 when Sir Walter Burley- Griffin surveyed the area to be the site for the City of Port Stephens, it was also offered as a possible site for Canberra, fortunately for us it did not eventuate.

The Cove is part of the Port Stephens Waterway with access to Soldier's Point, The Anchorage, Lemon Tree Passage, Oyster Cove, The Karuah River up to Allworth, Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Tea Gardens and the Myall River up into the Myall Lakes. Fishing varies from full on Game fishing in the ocean off the Port to estuary fishing in the upper reaches of the Bulahdelah River .

It is an area where you can feel isolated from the problems of the world yet have quick access to major facilities i.e.: - Tea Gardens 15 min, Raymond Terrace 30 min, Karuah 10 min. Come pay us a visit, it's a idyllic place to live.
